4-Year Anniversary

Hard to believe, but it has already been four years since we said, "I do." The past four years have been a blast and have flown by. We are so lucky to have each other!
To celebrate, we ate a fabulous dinner at Eddie V's. Everything was delicious, but it was a little hard watching Nic indulge in two of my favorites, which I cannot have right now: rare tuna and bourbon and Coke. Although, the huge cheese cake that I ate most of made up for it!

Dog Training 101

Kyla and Parker are enrolled in the "brawlers class" at the Lee Mannix Center for Canine Behavior. We have been going to brawlers class for a month now and have seen some improvement. Hopefully, they will graduate in a few weeks and we can introduce them to other dogs. Both dogs LOVE class and wiggle uncontrollably the minute we get in the parking lot.

A day of milestones

Today we reached two important milestones and therefore decided to start our family blog. First, Nic's 1999 Toyota 4 X 4 Tacoma reached 200,000 miles! We hope it will last another 200k.

And, more importantly ... we are half-way through the pregnancy and found out the sex of the 'lil peanut. The ultrasound technician wouldn't tell us for sure and told us not to go out and buy gender specific items, then she proceeded to show us the penis and scrotum! Also, he is no longer the size of a peanut. More like a 6 inch subway sandwich.
We are so excited about our boy! The doctor said he has really long legs. Hmmm ... wonder where he got that from?

Kyla and Parker react to being told about their new lil' bro...
